Quick note: Keara started her path in appliance technology in 10th grade at Aberdeen High School in Washington state, under the guidance of Instructor Chuck Veloni. Keara attended and competed in her first SkillsUSA RCAT contest as a freshman and won a Bronze medal (3rd place). The next year, Keara attended and competed in her second SkillsUSA RCAT contest as a junior and won a Silver medal (2nd place). For the third year in a row, Keara attended and competed in her third SkillsUSA RCAT contest as a senior and won the cherished Gold medal (1st place).
Keara follows multiple females who have competed in the SkillsUSA national championships in the RCAT program and have won the Gold! It’s true, women make some of the best Technicians in this industry.
